A 180 to 480 guest ship reaches places a large vessel cannot, and the crew learns your name by the second morning.
The ships are sized for archipelago quays, so the itinerary includes Porvoo, Naantali and Kokar instead of a bus ride from an industrial port.
Every sailing lists arrival and departure times, shore hours and the highlight of each day, so you can compare two routes without guessing.
Ice routes change with the ice charts. We publish how the itinerary moves and tell you before you board, not after.

Destinations

Departure port for most sailings, with the market square and Suomenlinna a short walk from the quay.

The river city where the archipelago begins, and the departure point for the island loops.

A wooden spa town with a sheltered harbour, used as a late departure call on the southern loop.

Sailing ship harbour and the main town of the islands, with two overnight calls on longer routes.

The winter base at the head of the Gulf of Bothnia, with icebreaker excursions and aurora nights.

Red river warehouses, cobbled lanes and a medieval cathedral, an easy first shore day from Helsinki.
We had sailed the Norwegian coast before, so the small harbours here were the reason we booked. Two nights in Mariehamn meant we could eat dinner ashore instead of watching the clock.
The ice day was moved twice because of the ice charts, and both times the crew told us the morning before. Clear answers, no drama, and we saw the aurora on the last night.
Eight nights with five cities sounded rushed, but the two overnight calls made it work. The shore concierge drew a walking route for Tallinn on the first evening.
Four questions we answer most often. The full guidance sits on each route page.
Finland is in the Schengen area. Travellers from outside the EU usually need a Schengen visa, and a multiple-entry visa is required if the route calls at ports outside the area. Check the rules for your passport before booking and allow several weeks for processing.
The quote covers your cabin, breakfast and dinner on board, port taxes and the onboard host. Shore excursions, lunches, drinks outside meals and travel to the departure port are listed separately on each route page.
Send an inquiry with your dates and party size. The team confirms availability and cabin options by email, then sends a booking contract. Payment is handled directly with the team after the contract is agreed, never on this site.
On winter sailings the captain may adjust the itinerary around ice and wind. Any change is announced on board and by email before departure, and missed shore time is replaced with an alternative call where the harbour allows it.
Send a short inquiry and the team replies with availability, cabin options and the fare for your party. No payment is taken here.
